Transpose turns selected data columns into Name and Value rows. Keep identifier columns as keys, so the resulting long table still says which team each value belongs to. A weekly hours table can become one row per team and day without losing its relationship to the team. Selecting a measure as a key would prevent it from becoming a value.
Cross Tab moves a header field's values into separate output columns. Choose the grouping fields, the new column header field and the value field. Repeated group/header combinations need an aggregation such as Sum or Count. Summing hours is different from counting the rows that carried those hours. Check that the chosen aggregation preserves the intended measure and that the reshaped output still has the correct reporting grain.
