Running Total adds a numeric field in the incoming record order. A group field restarts the calculation for each group, so one team's movements don't become another team's opening balance. Sort by the business sequence before calculating a time-based running value. The result includes both the source movement and a new RunTot field, which makes the calculation inspectable.
Tile assigns records to groups according to a chosen method. Equal Records aims for similar record counts and follows the incoming order. Tile_Num identifies the tile; Tile_SequenceNum starts again within it. Equal Sum instead tries to distribute a nonnegative numeric measure, and Unique Value treats changes in a selected value as a grouping rule. Choose the method from the business question rather than assuming every tile is a ranking.
