A Designer workflow describes how records move between tools. Choose a category in the tool palette, place a tool on the canvas and connect an output anchor to the next input anchor. Selecting a tool opens its Configuration window. Run the workflow to process the records, then select an output anchor to inspect its Results.
Data shows the records. Metadata shows field names and types. Messages explains tool counts, warnings and errors. A tool sitting near another tool has no connection until you draw one, and a completed run can still have the wrong business result. The local simulator uses fictional files and never opens a workplace account. Start by following the stream from its source to the exact output the task requests.
