Now put it all together under test conditions. Employer numerical tests usually give you a set of tables and charts, somewhere between 10 and 25 questions, and around a minute for each. Some let you move back and forth. Others time each question separately and lock it when you move on.
A few habits hold up in every format. Skim the exhibits once before the first question, so you know what data exists. Don't get stuck: if a question takes twice your average, pick your best estimate, flag it if you can, and move on. Use the options to rule out answers of the wrong size or sign before you calculate. Keep the calculator for the last step, once the sum is set up.
This lesson has three timed sets: one clock with free movement, a clock for each question with no going back, and a set where you type the number.
