Real verbal reasoning tests give you several passages, each with three or four statements, and often less than a minute per statement. You can't read every passage slowly, so read with a purpose.
Read the statement first. Then scan the passage for its key words, such as a name, a number or a date, and read only the sentences around them; most statements depend on one or two. Decide and move on. If you can't find the sentence within about 20 seconds, the passage may not cover it, which points to Cannot say. Don't reread the whole passage for each statement, because your first read tells you where things are.
The first set lets you move freely and flag statements. The second puts a clock on each statement, like tests that lock each answer. The third mixes the critical thinking formats.
