The reporting team has handed you a working copy of its early orders. Each task starts with the stated copy, so you can focus on the requested write without damaging bronze data. Read the resulting table as your evidence. A command that runs without an exception can still have changed too many rows.

You will revisit CTAS, append, targeted updates, deletes and MERGE. The review includes a complete-snapshot decision because the source's meaning determines whether absence is evidence of deletion. Keep the matching key separate from the values you update. The table and changes feed have both matching and unmatched ids, which makes omitted merge clauses visible in the result. No task requires a production cluster or cloud storage account.
