An analytics engineering interview tests whether you can explain a choice and its consequences. The hard questions here use short workplace situations rather than definitions alone. Read the evidence, choose the answer that follows it, and use the feedback to identify which assumption changed the result.
Each question has one best answer within its stated conditions. A command that succeeds may still produce the wrong grain. A passing test may cover only a subset of records.
Keep those limits in your explanation when you practice aloud. You don't need to claim a performance improvement or a business result that the scenario never measured. State the mechanism, name the tradeoff, and distinguish an operational decision from a data transformation.
