Some rules don't test a condition; they show how big each value is:
- Data Bars (Alt, H, L, D) draw a bar in each cell, longest for the largest value. They work like a small bar chart inside the column.
- Color Scales (Alt, H, L, S) shade each cell between two or three colors: Green - Yellow - Red puts green on the highest values, Red - Yellow - Green puts red on them. Pick the order that matches whether high is good.
- Above Average and Below Average (Top/Bottom Rules) compare each value with the average of the range.
These rules recalculate with the data, so they're a good fit for dashboards and monthly reports that get new numbers each time.
