A regional sales manager wants several views of a new sales register. Each request asks a different question: which product sold most, how many amounts were recorded, what share belongs to a region, and how the result changes after filters. Build the requested report from the provided records.
Use the field areas and settings deliberately. Rows and Columns group the data; Values chooses the measure. A summary function changes the calculation before Show Values As transforms it. Grouping and filters change which categories appear, and a slicer can narrow the records further.
These exercises mix the features without adding new ones. Keep the source data intact, include blank and zero records according to each calculation, and use the report commands instead of typing over a total.
