Project: a stock reorder sheet
From: Rafael Souza, manager, Harbor Lane Café (a fictional café)
About: Ordering on Monday mornings
Every Monday I count stock and guess what to order. Here is this week's count with how much we use per day, how long each supplier takes to deliver and the safety stock I like to keep.
I want a sheet that tells me how long each item lasts, when to reorder, how much to order and who to email, plus a list of just the items to reorder.
A reorder point answers "when should I order?": daily use times the supplier's lead time covers the wait for the delivery, and the safety stock covers a bad week. When the stock on hand falls to that level, you order.
This project builds that rule into a sheet: a days-of-stock column, the reorder point, an IF status, an order quantity, the supplier's email from another sheet with XLOOKUP, and finally a FILTER formula that lists only the items to reorder. Because FILTER spills, the list updates itself every Monday.

The reorder point, and a self-updating list of what to order.
