Text to Columns separates one column into several. Select the source cells, choose Data > Text to Columns, and pick Delimited. The next screen lets you choose Tab, Comma, Semicolon, Space or another character. The preview shows where each output column will begin.
Choose a destination with enough empty columns. Writing over existing data produces a confirmation because the wizard can replace those values. Consecutive delimiters need care. In a record such as A;;7, the empty middle field may mean missing data. Treating consecutive delimiters as one would shift 7 into the wrong column. Use that option only when repeated separators are padding, such as several spaces between words. TEXTSPLIT offers a formula alternative when the output needs to recalculate.
