A React component describes part of the interface from its inputs. Props carry those inputs from a parent, and children let the parent supply content inside a reusable wrapper. Rendering should describe the current screen without changing external state. You'll build small product and status components, pass values through props, and derive labels from each record. Zero needs attention. It is a real count or price, not a reason to substitute a fallback. Keep stable keys when you render repeated records, even before the lesson focuses on reordering. A reusable component should work with the hidden fixture as naturally as with the first fictional product name.
