Project: recovered release handoff
The release owner at Moss Tickets reset main before naming a completed route fix. Recover the exact lost snapshot onto recovered-route, add a review note, tag it, publish it and approve its local review.
Recover an unpublished route that lost its branch reference during a reset. Use the reflog to preserve the commit under a recovery branch before doing more work. Inspect the restored files, record the review result, tag the checked snapshot and publish it to the simulated server. A new branch at the current baseline would keep the wrong content. The graph and file checks distinguish that mistake from a successful recovery. Each step continues the recovered repository, and all earlier references must remain available through the final approved handoff. Nothing here requires a real remote account.
git reflog
git branch recovered-route HEAD@{1}
