A final-round priority conflict
Rowan is the hiring manager, Morgan works in this role and Casey is a business partner. We'll discuss a piece of work you owned, then consider an urgent quality issue competing with a promised improvement. Each of us will examine the decision from a different angle.

Mid standard
- I would show the work-level check that exposed the quality risk because an urgent label doesn't establish its consequence. I would trace an affected record, task or user path and compare the smallest safe correction with the full improvement.
- I would identify the failure boundary of the temporary correction because speed is only useful if the result remains safe to use. I would retain the relevant validation and recovery step and compare a contained workaround with a permanent repair.
- I would recommend the item with the greater unacceptable harm or binding obligation because doing both with the same capacity isn't a credible plan. I would expose the lost benefit of the other option and ask the authorized owner to accept the trade-off.
