Project: courier intake report
The operations lead at Alder Courier needs an open-work report before dispatch. The original raw.csv contains job, status, parcels and region. Deliver reports/open.csv, total.txt, regions.txt, rows.txt and a short summary, then package those files for the shift handoff.
Build a reproducible handoff for a courier operations lead. Begin with the original comma-delimited records, select open work, then derive a total and a distinct region list. Keep each intermediate file so another person can inspect your selection. A closed job has a deliberately large amount that must not enter the result. The last step packages the report directory while retaining the input. Each step continues your own files, and its check also protects earlier results. If you take a different valid command route, the same records and report content should remain available at the end.
