A connection supplies the account and authentication context for a connector. A card can have the correct fields and still fail if its connection is missing or no longer authorized. Connections are specific to services and environments. Reading a workbook through Excel does not automatically grant permission to post in Teams or change a SharePoint list.
Use the smallest access scope that supports the required work, and plan who maintains the connection when its original owner changes roles. This simulator stores connection labels in the flow and reports a missing service connection. It doesn't sign in to a tenant, check licenses or grant real permissions. The exercises therefore distinguish the configuration you can inspect here from the account and data-source access you must validate at work. Reusing a flow also means reviewing its destinations, not merely copying its cards.
