Juniper Service Desk needs a flow that other people can operate after its author leaves. The design has to survive more than a happy-path demonstration. A connector may time out after accepting a write. The next business date may differ from UTC. A teammate may be able to edit a flow while lacking access to the list it uses.
Answer with the evidence you would inspect and the rule you would apply. Retrying a write and catching a failure solve different problems. Neither proves that an external action happened exactly once. For a duplicate-sensitive process, identify the business key and the receiving system's behavior before choosing a recovery plan.
