Re: new supplier price list
Our main supplier sent a new price list (supplier_prices.csv in the Data folder). It's the usual state: odd spacing, names in capitals, an N/A where a price should be, and one product listed twice.
Please:
- Clean it up and load it as Supplier Prices.
- Link each row to our Product table, so we compare like with like.
- Show me, product by product, what we pay today (Unit Cost in Product) next to what they now charge.
I need to know which products will cost us more before I sign.
This project takes one messy file from the folder to a finished comparison. You'll clean it in Power Query, look up each product's key in the model, load it, connect it to the Product table and build the table the buyer asked for.
Each step continues from your own work. When a step's check fails, the message names the column or the setting that differs, so you can fix it before moving on.
