Build the board's 2025 review using the fictional retailer model. The Overview needs a sales KPI, regional sales bars and monthly sales panels by region. Detail needs a store table with sales and profit. Let the board drill from a regional bar to Detail and return with Back. Add an orders tooltip and an Annual review bookmark that restores the overview. Connect that bookmark to a visible button.
The board needs a summary that can lead to an investigation without losing context. Build a 2025 overview, a reusable regional detail page and a compact tooltip. The sales and cost definitions are already supplied; your job is to organize the report and make its navigation predictable.
Every step continues from the report you built. Use explicit measures, preserve the selected region when drilling through, and add a Back action rather than a fixed return tab. The report also needs a preset bookmark and a button that applies it. A bookmark captures state when you save it, so the order of the final steps matters. The deliverable is a working report with two main pages and contextual detail, not a collection of unrelated chart examples.
