Project: store performance one-pager
From: Celia Moreno, Operations Manager
I need a one-page 2025 store performance report for the weekly review. Use the supplied fictional sales model. Show total sales, sales by region and a monthly trend. Add a store table with sales and order count, plus a channel slicer initially set to Online. Keep the year at 2025. The deliverable is a report page with the measures and controls working together, not a screenshot of fixed numbers.
The operations manager needs a one-page sales review for a weekly meeting. Build it from the numbers outward: define a reusable measure, add the overview and trend, then give the reader a way to choose a channel. The report uses a fictional outdoor retailer with separate Store, Product, Customer and Date dimensions.
Each step continues from your previous result. The checks examine the report state rather than the sequence of clicks, so you can use any valid way to assign the fields. The last step establishes the requested year and a readable title. Keep the unsold products and the late-opening store in mind when deciding which fields describe the business; the dashboard should summarize the model without silently changing its grain.
Total Sales -> headline card, regional bars, monthly line
Store table -> sales and order count
Channel slicer -> Online
Page year -> 2025
