From: Dana Whitfield, Sales Director
For: the Monday regional review
I need one page I can bring to the regional review. Our stores are grouped in four regions. Please show:
- Total sales, margin % and growth on last year, as measures we can reuse, not quick sums.
- Sales by region so I can see who carries the business.
- A store table with sales, margin and growth, biggest store first.
- A year selector, set to 2025 by default.
- The headline sales number in a card.
Salt Lake City only opened in October 2025, so it has no last year. Make sure it doesn't show a fake growth figure.
A project is a whole report built in steps, each one continuing from your own work in the step before. You'll write the measures first, then build the page on top of them, the order most analysts follow at work: get the numbers right, then show them.
Each step is checked on its own, so you know straight away when something is off. If you leave and come back, the step starts from the expected result of the previous steps.
