Shape columns so each one holds one thing, under a name people understand.
- Split Column > By Delimiter breaks "Okafor, Amara" into two columns. Pick the exact delimiter: splitting at the comma alone leaves a space in front of each first name.
- Rename a column by double-clicking its header.
- Format changes the case: lowercase for emails, Capitalize Each Word for names and labels.
- Conditional Column (Add Column tab) labels rows with if and then rules, without writing code. The first rule that matches wins, so put the strictest rule first.
- Custom Column computes a value from other columns with a formula such as
[Amount] / [Quantity].
Each of these is a step, so the same shaping runs on next month's file.
