About: Revenue by manager, every month
Every month I get an orders export with a blank line and a Total row at the bottom, regions typed any old way, and a separate list of who manages which region. I'd like one query that cleans March, adds April, works out revenue per order line, brings in the manager, and gives me revenue per manager.
Next month I want to drop the new file in and refresh, nothing else.
This project builds one query from start to finish, the way you'd at work: clean the rows, clean the key column, append the next month, calculate, merge, summarize. Each step starts where the last one ended.
Order matters. The region names must be clean before the merge, or " North " finds no manager. The line total must exist before the group-by, which drops every column it doesn't use.
