When two reports need the same cleaned data, don't clean it twice. Right-click the cleaned query in the Queries pane and pick Reference. The new query has one step, Source, pointing at the first query's result, and it picks up every fix you make to the original.
Duplicate is different: it copies all the steps, so the copies drift apart as you change one and not the other.
The cleaned query itself is then a staging query, a building block nobody needs to see. Right-click it and untick Enable load (in Excel, Load To > Only Create Connection), so only the finished reports land in the workbook.
