A module is a Python file with its own namespace. Importing a module makes its definitions available, and aliases can keep a call site readable without changing the imported object. A main guard separates code meant to run as a script from definitions meant to be imported. A distribution is the installable project described by packaging metadata; its distribution name and import name need not match. The workspace doesn't install or publish a package. Instead, you'll use actual standard-library imports, execute a temporary module under two names, inspect declared exports, and parse a small pyproject file. The files exist only in the runtime's virtual file system and disappear after each call.
