A confirmed booking commits a named person to a role for a weekly number of hours. Choose the person and role, then enter the start and end weeks, weekly hours and status. The role describes what the project needs; the booking describes who will supply it. A booking doesn't raise a person's skill level or remove leave.
Validate the whole assignment before saving. Someone can have enough time in the first week and run short after leave in the second. The app also checks proficiency, grade and any required office. If a proposed booking fails, use the message to repair that constraint rather than repeatedly reducing hours without understanding the demand.
