The schedule places people on rows and weeks on columns. Confirmed work consumes net capacity. Provisional work shows tentative pressure that may become a commitment later. Open a cell or booking to inspect the role and dates before deciding that a colored block is an error.
A booking repeats its weekly hours across every covered week, including the final week. Leave changes the denominator for its own week, so the same booking can create a different utilization percentage in two adjacent columns. A red cell may identify inherited over-allocation rather than a new action you just made. Compare booked hours with capacity and inspect the contributing assignments. For an unbooked person, free capacity can support a new role only if that person also meets its skill and grade requirements. A white cell alone doesn't prove a match.
