Personalizing a list changes which columns you see and their order. The Number column identifies a task, while Assignment group and Assigned to answer different ownership questions. A missing column can hide a useful value without changing the underlying record. Choose only the columns needed for the current handoff.
Sorting orders rows; grouping divides them into labeled sections. Grouping by Assignment group doesn't assign records to those groups. A descending sort puts the highest value first under the selected field's order. Ties still exist, so don't infer a separate priority from incidental row order. Keep the filter visible while adjusting the layout. A well-arranged list on the wrong record set still answers the wrong question.
