A related list condition asks whether a parent has matching child records. An incident can have several Task SLA rows. Filtering incidents for a breached related SLA returns each incident once, even when two of its SLA rows breached. Filtering the Task SLA table directly returns the child rows instead.
Choose the table that represents the result you need. An IT manager usually wants affected incidents; an SLA analyst may need every attached SLA record. The simulator supports the relationship through Task SLA fields in the incident condition builder. A child condition can match any linked row. When several child conditions are needed, confirm whether they must describe the same row in the real instance. Empty relationships don't prove a breach, and duplicate child records should not inflate a parent count.
