A task SLA row attaches a particular SLA definition to a task. One incident can have response and resolution SLAs, and their stages and breach flags can differ. Count distinct tasks when the business question asks how many incidents were affected. Count Task SLA rows when it asks how many SLA attachments breached.
Elapsed time and business elapsed time may differ because schedules and pause conditions affect the timer. A paused SLA doesn't mean the incident is resolved. Inspect the definition, stage, schedule, and task lifecycle together. The simulator exposes breach, stage, and business duration on original examples. It doesn't claim to reproduce a full holiday calendar engine. Treat its duration values as task SLA evidence, and use the correct table for the question.
sla-001: task inc-001, breached, resolution SLA
sla-002: task inc-001, breached, response SLA
sla-004: task inc-006, breached, resolution SLA
Result: three breached attachment rows, two distinct affected incidents.
State the unit before reporting a breach total.
