A recovery query should answer two questions: which rows changed incorrectly, and which valid changes must remain. Time Travel lets you read a retained version without replacing the live table. Use that version as a source for a narrow UPDATE when only one category was damaged. Replacing the entire table could discard unrelated work.
A clone can preserve a chosen historical version for investigation. After cloning, the copy and source can change independently. UNDROP restores the most recently dropped object of a name while it remains recoverable and the name is free. These exercises stay within the simulated retention window. They teach the SQL workflow; they don't make a browser session a backup service.
