In Snowflake you write SQL in a worksheet. Every worksheet runs in a context: a role and a warehouse (top right) and a database and schema (above the editor). Here that's role ANALYST, warehouse COMPUTE_WH, and RIDGELINE.SALES: the sales data of Ridgeline Outfitters, an outdoor gear retailer.
Tables live in a three-part path: database.schema.table. A bare name like ORDERS is looked up in the current schema, so ORDERS here means RIDGELINE.SALES.ORDERS. To reach another schema, write RAW.ORDERS_JSON, or change the context with USE SCHEMA RAW.
A worksheet can hold many statements. Cmd+Enter (Ctrl+Enter on Windows) runs the one your cursor is in, and Cmd+Shift+Enter runs them all, top to bottom. The results grid shows the last result, and Query Details on the right shows how long it took and its query ID.
