A mixed set on the gear shop orders and the help desk tickets. For each task, decide the level first: a fixed list of dimensions (FIXED), the view plus a dimension (INCLUDE), or the view minus one (EXCLUDE). Then check where filters fall in the order of operations, and whether one of them belongs in context.
A FIXED expression that returns a date is still a date: put it on Columns and Tableau shows its year. A FIXED expression that returns true or false makes a clean dimension for splitting customers into two groups.
When an answer looks wrong, ask which step of the order of operations produced it.
