Create calculations for a second set of HR reporting needs. Choose the business object first, then the function and its operands. Position calculations evaluate staffing slots, worker calculations evaluate people, and job application calculations evaluate application records. The same date-difference function has a different meaning on each grain.
Inspect both ordinary and boundary results. A worker without a termination date should not acquire an invented employment duration. A position that remains open should not acquire a completed time to fill. Keep separators explicit in concatenated labels, and use field references rather than copying visible values. This practice set reuses only the text, arithmetic and date functions you have already built.
