Terminate ends a worker's active employment with an effective date and reason. The worker record remains available for history and reporting. Deleting a person would lose the evidence needed for period exits, prior headcount and later reconciliations.
Confirm the worker ID and the last effective date before submitting. An exit on the last day of a month affects the period's termination count and may affect closing headcount under the stated boundary convention. Complete every Inbox approval, then inspect status, termination date and the process history. These exercises use fictional departures; their reasons are training inputs. They don't imply that a title, pay amount or organizational move is grounds for a real termination.
