A worker profile brings job, compensation and organization information together, but those sections answer different questions. Job identifies the role and position. Compensation holds pay information. Organizations places the worker in a supervisory organization and cost center. History records effective events, including changes that no longer describe the current record.
Compare the effective date with the date in the request. An event submitted today can take effect later. Also distinguish Employee from Contingent Worker before counting a population or comparing pay. A worker's displayed name is convenient for people, while the worker ID is the link you need for reconciliation. When a field is blank, inspect the related object instead of filling the gap with an assumption.
