Aptitude tests
Numerical, verbal, logical, situational judgment and game-based tests, with 12 full mocks timed like the real ones.
Projects, case studies and mock exams
A full graduate-style numerical test: tables, charts and pies across several exhibits, a calculator, and free movement between questions.
18 questions · 30 minMock exam · ExpertNumerical reasoning mock: a clock on every questionTwelve questions with 75 seconds each and no going back, the format some employers use to stop you banking time.
12 questions · 18 minMock exam · ExpertVerbal reasoning mock: 30 statements in 20 minutesTen short passages with three statements each: True, False or Cannot say, at the pace of a real graduate verbal test.
30 questions · 24 minMock exam · ExpertCritical thinking mock: 40 questions in 30 minutesFive timed sections in order, similar in format to the Watson Glaser: inferences, assumptions, deductions, interpretation and arguments.
38 questions · 35 minMock exam · ExpertCognitive aptitude mock: 50 questions in 15 minutesFifty mixed verbal, math, logic and figure questions in 15 minutes with no calculator and no going back, similar in format to the CCAT.
50 questions · 18 minMock exam · ExpertCognitive aptitude mock: 50 questions in 12 minutesFifty short questions in 12 minutes, similar in format to the Wonderlic: words, numbers, logic, detail checks and short passages, with skipping allowed.
50 questions · 15 minMock exam · ExpertAbstract reasoning mock: 20 questions in 15 minutesTwenty figure questions in 15 minutes: sequences, matrices, odd one out, and Set A and Set B.
20 questions · 18 minMock exam · ExpertDiagrammatic and spatial mock: 20 questions in 18 minutesTwenty questions in 18 minutes: operator flows, rotations against mirror images, and cube nets.
20 questions · 20 minMock exam · ExpertSituational judgment mock: 20 situationsTwenty new work situations in all three formats (most and least effective, ranking, and rating) in 30 minutes.
20 questions · 32 minMock exam · ExpertMental math mock: 80 questions in 8 minutesEighty arithmetic questions in 8 minutes with four options each and a point off for every wrong answer, as in trading-firm math tests.
1 question · 10 minMock exam · ExpertClerical mock: checking, data entry and 10-keyThree timed sections like an administrative screening test: error checking against a source, exact data entry, and 10-key speed.
25 questions · 18 minMock exam · ExpertMechanical reasoning mock: 25 questions in 20 minutesTwenty-five questions in 20 minutes on gears, belts, levers, pulleys, springs and pressure.
25 questions · 22 minPractice the online tests employers send before interviews, in a test window that behaves like the real thing: a countdown timer, question navigation and flags, an on-screen calculator where tests allow one, and a score report with worked answers.
The course starts with mental math, because many tests ban calculators. Then come numerical reasoning, verbal reasoning and critical thinking, series and abstract figures, diagrammatic and spatial puzzles, situational judgment, clerical and mechanical tests, and memory and attention games like those in game-based assessments. Each lesson teaches one question type with a worked example, then adds time pressure.
The last level is twelve full mock tests at real length and timing, including fast mixed tests similar in format to the CCAT and the Wonderlic. Most questions are generated from rules, so a retake gives you a new test. Every question is original.
Beginner
Mental math
Fast arithmetic, percentages, estimation and number shortcuts without a calculator.
Numerical reasoning foundations
Reading tables and charts, percentage change, conversions and averages with a calculator.
Verbal reasoning foundations
True, False and Cannot say, main ideas, and word meaning.
Logical reasoning foundations
Number and letter series, syllogisms and ordering puzzles.
Intermediate
Abstract and inductive reasoning
Shape sequences, matrices, odd one out, and Set A and Set B.
Diagrammatic and spatial reasoning
Operator flows, rotations against mirror images, and cube nets.
Critical thinking
Assumptions, inferences, deductions and arguments, similar in format to the Watson Glaser.
Situational judgment
Most and least effective responses, rankings and rating scales.
Advanced
Numerical reasoning under test conditions
Multi-step questions across two exhibits, per-question clocks and typed answers.
Verbal reasoning under test conditions
Passages and critical thinking against the clock.
Clerical, speed and mechanical tests
Error checking, data entry, 10-key speed and mechanical reasoning.
Cognitive aptitude and game-based assessments
Mixed questions at the pace of a 50-question test, word problems without a calculator, and memory and attention games.
